Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2

As stated in the Business Objects Supported Platforms document (http://support.businessobjects.com/CommunityCS/technicalpapers/boe_xi_r2_supported_platforms_windows_sp2.pdf), SP2 for Windows Server 2003 is not supported.

I did a test, based on pure curiousity, with a Windows Server 2003 SP2 with all updates per 07/18/07 and then installed the BOXIr2 SP2 version. I found minor issues on different places in the installation after that, e.g. Administration Launchpad for both Java and .NET version. So the bottom line is that you should avoid upgrading Windows Server 2003 SP1 to SP2.
